Yes it does has a offline backup for it. it is a free app called as Gookup and it is a Java based tool which can be used to backup your all valuable data and mails and everything that lies it it. like the blogger (if you are publishing a blog) and all the feeds that lies within it..and it backs up offline so it can be accessed easily in to your Hard drive for future use.. etc..
